Taking advantage of sales

I'm never one to buy on the premise of a style being 'so hot right now' and therefore paying full price. My preference is to purchase shoes on sale or vintage pre-loved shoes for a number of reasons. Of course affordability is always the biggest part, but sometimes buying things that haven't been as popular is what makes me want them that bit more.

In Australia, the range of shoes is extensive but tends to be repetitive from store to store. Franchise stores like Mollini, Nine West, Zu and Sidewalk Sole, tend to have competitively priced shoes which is great; but the same style is sold at each store.

Having said that, sometimes these stores stock a shoe that isn't right of the moment, but has the certain quality that is lust worthy.

These slingbacks (usually not my style) in a myriad of colours are a great shoe for any occasion, and of course that's important. The super high heel is only good for those that go out dancing a lot (and drinking to numb the pain) or those with Carrie Bradshaw esque pain thresholds...

The best thing, the Hoton is on sale for a mere $59.00. Check it out here...

Another shoe that will last in your wardrobe a lifetime, is the Papoose. In gorgeous red suede, the lace up ankle and peeptoe make it an anytime season shoe. At $79.50, its a clear bargain. Check it out here...

Wow, those "ink" shoes really are something extraordinary.
